a rooftop OASIS
attentive staff delicious breakfast private balcony
Staying here was sublime. The staff seemed attentive and professional. I especially loved the breakfast, varied, authentic and delicious, it was a great start to each day. Our sea view room provided rest. The balcony was private.
I did find the in-room air conditioning rather weak. I felt warm, even late at night, made sleeping a bit difficult. Better climate control would greatly enhance the experience.

The breakfast offers an authentic taste of local cuisine with savory pastries and fresh vegetables. The options change daily, so each morning brings something new. The hotel's own version of creamy Cretan yogurt is A definite highlight.

My beautiful room offered ample space. It included crisp, fresh linens and towels. The minimalist design contributed to a serene, uncluttered environment. I appreciated the balcony, too. The view of the sea was captivating.

poor soundproofing weak air conditioning
The breakfast was varied and delicious. It included authentic local options.
the room was not properly soundproofed, i heard noise from outside most of the night. the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool during the day. i found that unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber.

convenient location helpful staff
I found the location convenient. It was an easy walk to the harbor area and a short distance to a couple of beaches where i enjoyed swimming. The staff was friendly and helpful (they even helped me rent a car!).

The front desk staff provided excellent assistance, offering information and marking maps with options for daily excursions. Restaurant recommendations matched my preferences perfectly. Daily breakfast was varied and delicious.

excellent stay near the old harbor
sea view street parking panoramic window
i stayed in a room facing the sea. parking was available on the street near the hotel. i could also find spots on nearby streets especially since it wasn't peak season. the room featured a panoramic window facing the port and a drying rack on the balcony.
i did notice that the air conditioning in my room was not very strong. this made it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature especially during the warmer parts of the day. it would have been more pleasant with better air conditioning.
